I only met Louise twice, and quite a few years ago. I had hoped to attend her memorial service but wasn't able. I always heard what a special person she was and would love to learn more about her. When convenient I hope someone from the family will contact me as Louise was cousins with my Grandmother, Fannie Bond Clayton Bosley of Norfolk and her sister Caroline Moran. Ms. Clayton was my first and second grade teacher at Pinners Point Elementary School and I have never forgotten her. She made learning and reading fun and I think that contributed to my love for reading and my quest for more knowledge. When any of the kids was absent from school for more than one day she would make a home visit to be sure they were ok. I know there are hundreds of former students who will not forget her.

I met Mrs. Clayton at Lake Prince Woods and was facinated by the tales of her life. Anyone who has made it to her age sure has a lot of life to talk about.My condolences
