Louise E. Davis
Portsmouth – Louise Ellen Hager Davis, 82, passed away on Feb. 25, 2010. She was predeceased by the love of her life her husband Emory L. Davis. Louise was a native of Bluefield , WV a member of Western Branch Baptist Church and the Gleaners Bible Class.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Carole Grassel, and husband, Ken of Ebony, VA, Cathy Savage and husband, David, of Va Beach, Rick Davis and wife, Cathy of Hertford, NC, Annette Field and husband, John of Chesapeake, Melissa Hudson and husband, Richard of Moyock, NC; sister, Judy Hager Gibson of Ft. Mills, SC; grandchildren, Patricia Perry, Rick Grassel, Jennifer Hutchinson, Amber Lane, Jonathan Field, Eric Davis, Donnie Hudson and Christina Adams; great-grandchildren, Kristen Perry, Kyle Perry, Kendal Hudson, Ricky Grassel, Hannah Adams, Kayden Lane.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by Dr. Walter Black. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home Saturday from 3-4:30 and memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association.
